  • Can I come visit Fifth Acre for a farm tour?
Our main field, located in Vermilion, belongs to a close friend of ours. It is residential property that is graciously on loan. Because of this, we cannot welcome visitors. We hope to one day own the land that we farm. We dream of group tours, summer camps and chef-driven farm dinners in the field. Until then, you can follow our growing field on instagram, @fifthacrefarms.
  • Are tickets for events at Fifth Acre Farms refundable?
No, all tickets for events at Fifth Acre Farms are non-refundable. However, they are transferable. If you are unable to attend an event, it is your responsibility to find someone to take your place. Please inform us of the change in attendee name for our records. If you are unable to find someone to attend, the ticket price will be considered a donation to our small farm. Your support is greatly appreciated and goes towards helping us continue to provide sustainable and ethical farming practices.
  • How can I buy Fifth Acre food & flowers?
Currently, Fifth Acre is weekly vendor at the North Union Farmers Market at Crocker Park. The market runs every Saturday, from 9 am - 1 pm. You can learn more about the market here. Or, you can attend a special event, like a workshop or weekend market. Keep an eye on our event calendar here.
  • Is Fifth Acre Farms located in Vermilion or Elyria?
Well, the easy answer is, both! Our home is in Elyria. It's where our porch stand is located and where Google maps will take you if you search us. We grow a few things here, like tulips and garlic, but for the most part, Elyria is not "the farm". Our main field is located on Stanley Road, in Vermilion. Here, we grow 80% of what we produce. The land belongs to a close friend of ours and is not open to the public.
